A SIMPLE IDEA

Attach.
Place.
Display.

Designed around your existing plate and a removable connection to glass.

The mounting approach is being prototyped. Final installation instructions will follow fit and retention testing.

01

Give your plate a home.

Quad connects at the plate’s existing mounting holes. Solo adds retaining rails and an open X-back for a framed display.

02

Make the glass connection.

Four suction cups connect the assembly to glass. The concept positions the plate inside the passenger-side windshield, facing outward.

03

Put the design on display.

Explore a different look for a stationary vehicle display. The removable approach leaves the bumper out of the mounting process.

A XAOS TECH PRODUCT

A small detail.
A different view.

TagView started with a straightforward question: could displaying a plate feel as considered as the vehicle itself?

We’re exploring a removable answer. From the independent Quad mounts to the Solo frame and Illuminated concept, each design keeps the existing plate at the center.

TagView is being developed by XAOS Tech, with physical prototypes guiding what comes next.

Can I buy TagView now?

Not yet. Quad, Solo, and Illuminated are in development. The prices shown are proposed targets. We’ll confirm availability and final kit contents before accepting orders.

What size plate is it designed for?

The design target is a standard 12 × 6-inch metal plate. Plate thickness, hole placement, glass curvature, and installation clearance still need to be checked on physical prototypes. Vehicle compatibility is not confirmed.

Is windshield mounting approved for road use?

No road-use approval has been established for TagView. The current concepts are presented for stationary displays on private property. They are not represented as a replacement for required road-going plate mounts.

Does Solo still mean one complete holder?

Yes. Solo refers to the complete framed display. The current prototype assembles from three interlocking structural pieces, with left and right sides joined by a full-height center spine. The assembled holder uses an open X-back.

How does the Illuminated version get power?

The concept includes upward-facing LEDs in a 0.75-inch lower rail and provisions for vertical solar strips. The LEDs, battery, controller, and solar components have not been finalized. Battery life, brightness, and charging performance are not yet established.

How is the plate secured?

Quad connects through the plate’s existing holes. The framed designs combine retaining rails with hole-based fasteners. A printed locking option is also being prototyped. Fit, heat resistance, vibration control, and retention remain under testing; screws are not included in the proposed framed kit.
